Invited to the presentation of the Guide to Good Practices for Logistics Communities in Chile

Invited by the Chilean Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, UniportBilbao has participated in a conference in which the update of the "Guide to Good Practices for Logistics Communities of Chile" has been announced. The conference was organized by the Chilean Foundation for Logistics Efficiency- Conecta Logística and members of companies from different ports in Chile, which are in the process of forming port communities, have participated. Uniport, as a Spanish benchmark among port clusters, has unveiled its model at the proposal of Idom, an associated company and consultant on the project.

The meeting also revealed the tools and resources developed within the framework of Conecta Logística, so that communities can advance in the different levels of maturity and technological adoption, and in this way help improve the efficiency of supply chains. logistics. Among them: meetings to promote the exchange of experiences and collaborations; consultancies for diagnosing the state of maturity of the communities and their gaps; and the smart ports guide, which contains the necessary guidelines for ports to advance together with their communities in digital transformation.

The Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, Gloria Hutt, who has addressed the importance of Logistics Communities in the efficiency of local logistics chains, has participated in this conference; the Director of Technological Development of the Technological Capabilities Management, Elizabeth Zapata, who has made known the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors for the development of the logistics industry and foreign trade; Rosa González, from the University of the Andes; and Romina Morales, in charge of Digital Transformation, who has made the official presentation of the Guide to Good Practices for the consolidation of Logistics Communities.
