Volans Logistics, S.L.
We are a shipping line dedicated to the maritime transportation of breakbulk and project cargo, performing a regular monthly service from Europe to the West Coast of South America with our own fleet of 3 multipurpose vessels.
VOLANS was established based on more than 35 years of experience in the project cargo shipping and logistics business from Europe to the West Coast of South America.
This liner service was launched more than 3 decades ago to cover the important sea route from Northern Europe (Germany, Belgium and Spain) to the West Coast of South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Chile) as a reliable solution for regular bulk cargoes between these continents.
Since 2015, this maritime service is performed and operated under a partnership between VOLANS-LG and NSC HOLDING, a strong German maritime group based in Hamburg and specialized in fleet management and chartering, with a fleet of approximately 60 vessels.
During these last 6 years of successful operation we have achieved more than 70 regular monthly departures, incorporating during this process our own fleet of 3 multipurpose vessels to service this trade. The incorporation of dedicated and specialized vessels together with the recognition of the market and customers allowed us to become a highly recognized provider of this type of cargo transportation to South America.
We have an experienced team with extensive knowledge of complex breakbulk and project cargo operations. In addition, our presence with our own offices in Madrid (Spain), Hamburg (Germany) and Santiago (Chile) allows us to be close to where your cargo is loaded and unloaded.
We strive to provide an effective, reliable, competitive and safe maritime service to our community with a strong focus on providing commercial and operational advice along the entire logistics chain.

Transport Overseas Shipping Iberia, S.L.
Transport Overseas Shipping Iberia, the subsidiary created by the German Transport Overseas Group (TO Group), began its activity in Bilbao in November 2021 as an agent for the Europe Caribbean Line (ECL), of the Vertom Group.
The Bilbao office of TO Shipping Iberia, with German capital and headquarters in Bremen, is the German company's sixth, and accompanies those in Bremen, Antwerp, Berlin, Dubai and Poland.
Transport Overseas Shipping Iberia started its journey in Spain on January 1st, 2021 as a line agent, and after a long administrative process delayed by the pandemic, it finally saw its initial objective fulfilled with the representation of its first company, ECL, in our country that continues to increase the number of ships for their route to the Caribbean, now having a weekly service from Northern Europe with a very short transit time.
Currently, ECL (Vertraco) is one of the few Shipowners, not of containerized cargo, that operates this route and the one that offers the greatest regularity and frequency. Approximately every week a ship departs from the Port of Antwerp (Belgium) with a stopover in Flushing (Netherlands), Hull (United Kingdom) and once a month with a call at Bilbao port and destination Georgetown (Guyana), Paramaribo (Suriname), Point Lisas (Trinidad and Tobago), La Guaira, Guanta and Puerto Cabello in Venezuela.
Its ships with its own cranes allow the reception of all types of cargo, from project cargo, conventional cargo, rolled goods and containers, all thanks to the security provided by a highly experienced crew, strict maintenance of its fleet and many years of experience in Caribbean ports.
In addition, TO Iberia now offers an intra-Caribbean service that connects Point Lisas with the rest of the Caribbean to the Dominican Republic.
Likewise, the Europe Caribbean Line service offers upbound traffic from the Port of Avilés, where ECL is calling on a monthly basis to Antwerp for all those cargoes destined for Northern Europe, or that need to connect with ocean vessels to other ports.
TO Shipping has opted for the service that connects the port of Bilbao with different destinations in the Caribbean.
ECL - Europe Caribbean Line (ECL) is the result of collaboration between Vertraco Shipping B.V. and Vertom Shipping & Trading B.V. The company was founded in 1981 in Willemstad (Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles) and offers a regular maritime service between Europe, the southern Caribbean and the northern coast of South America.
ECL Reefer Service also operates an ECL Reefer refrigerated container service with fortnightly departures from Flushing (Netherlands) to Georgetown (Guyana) and Paramaribo (Suriname). The ECL Reefer Service is especially suitable for palletized loads, breakbulk, groupage shipments (LCL) and full containers (FCL). Headquartered in Rotterdam (Vertraco), ECL has a wide network of delegations and agencies that includes Belgium, France, French Guyana, Spain (Transport Overseas Shipping Iberia), Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom and Venezuela.
