Intertransportes Saavedra was founded in the 70s, starting its activity with special road transport. Belonging to the Saavedra Group, it specialises in the Special Transport of large tonnage and exceptionally large goods such as overhead cranes, civil engineering bridges and wind turbines.

Its fleet is made up of a wide range of equipment (with an average age of less than 4 years) whose configurations adapt to any type of load. The equipment has a GPS locator, which allows the location of any vehicle required to be known in real time.

Currently, Grupo Saavedra develops its activity for companies dedicated to different sectors such as: Renewable Energies, Steel and Petrochemical Industries, Mining and Railways, Metal-Mechanical Industries, Civil Construction and Public Works, General Cargo.

In the international field, the United Kingdom, Romania, Morocco, France, Denmark and Greece are some of the countries in which they operate.

Among the new activities are the accompaniment with pilot cars, the processing of special traffic authorisations and technical studies of routes.
