The Port Authority of Bilbao, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Bilbao has organised an international congress on sustainable ports, which will be held in Bilbao on November 8 - 9..

The Congress will have three thematic areas on the first day: governance and ethics, health and welfare, and climate and energy.
On the second day, there will be a round table about the relationship between the Port and the City.

More than twenty acknowledged expert professionals in sustainability will participate, such as the Belgian economist Guntel Pauli; Carola Hein, Professor and head of the History of Architecture and Urban Planning at Delft University of technology and Jan Hoffman, head of the Division on Technology and Logistics at UNCTAD and expert in maritime connectivity g
