FINNLINES | CONSIGNACIONES TORO Y BETOLAZA | Strengthens its service with Zeebrugge

Bilbao | january 1, 2024

Finnlines (Grimaldi Group) has announced the reinforcement of its weekly service with a second call at Bilbao for the beginning of 2024. From then on, the departure of vessels from the C. Toro and Betolaza terminal in the port of Bilbao will be on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This reinforcement with the port of Zeebrugge will respond to the increase in demand for Ro-Ro trailer cargo, which finds in "Short Sea" services an environmentally and socially sustainable alternative for intra-European transits.

This second call also improves connections via Zeebrugge to Ireland, Norway and Sweden and complements the existing direct service with Zeebrugge/Antwerp (Belgium) - Travemünde (Germany) - Helsinki/Kotka (Finland) - Paldiski (Estonia).

We also recall that in the rotation with a call at the port of Antwerp, this port acts as a "hub" for the Grimaldi Group's transoceanic lines with the whole world.

As general features, the line can handle all types of cargo, including IMO and oversized cargo up to 7 metres height and 250 tonnes weight.
