BRITTANY FERRIES | Expands its Rosslare offer with a change of ship

After the success of the Bilbao - Rosslare route, not only in cargo but also passengers, Brittany Ferries will expand its offer.
The "Salamanca", recently commissioned for the Bilbao-Portsmouth route, will replace the "Connemara" in the Spain and Ireland route from November and for five months. Later, in March, the "Galicia" will take over to complete the 2023 season.

Recent booking data shows significant growth, with the number of passengers on the Spain – Ireland route increasing significantly compared to 2019, the last year of uninterrupted voyages before the pandemic.

The "Salamanca" is the first of four LNG ferries incorporated into the Brittany Ferries fleet, and together with "Galicia", are two of the most efficient and environmentally sustainable Hybrid LNG and electric ships.
