ARASUR | Enlarges its intermodal logistics platform

The Araba Logística, SA (Arasur) industrial and logistic park will enlarge its intermodal logistics platform to offer more land. Thus, the Arasur logistic platform will grow, urbanising its southern phase, and incorporate a technological company into the platform.

One of the plots, occupying over 150,000 square metres, will hold a "data centre campus" with three buildings, as well as a power substation to supply electricity to the campus, which will also use the renewable energy of the solar park that EVE and Iberdrola plan to build in Armiñón, in a neighbouring area.

Strategically located on the crossroads of AP-1 (Burgos-Armiñón) and AP-68 (Bilbao-Zaragoza), near Foronda airport and Júndiz industrial estate, Arasur currently occupies over two million square metres, with over 100,000 square metres of buildings and the Aratrain intermodal terminal - operated by SIBPort - with a rail connection to the port of Bilbao.
