Vasco Shipping Services, S.L.

Vasco Shipping Services S.L. is the company created in 2000 within the VASCO Group to represent the Chinese shipping company COSCO, with which it has been collaborating since 1991. With its own offices in Bilbao and Vigo, it acts as the shipowner's agency for the whole of Northern Spain and through its subsidiary Cosvas Atlantic in the Canary Islands, Mauritania and Cape Verde from its headquarters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Following the merger between China Ocean Shipping (Cosco) and China Shipping Group, Vasco Shipping is also a partner in Cosco Shipping Lines Spain, Cosco Shipping's general agent for Spain and Portugal with headquarters in Barcelona, and in Cosco Shipping Lines Central Europe, Cosco Shipping's general agent for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia with headquarters in Prague.

Cosco Shipping Group operates a fleet of more than 1,100 vessels with a cargo capacity of more than 85 million DWT. Within this, the container fleet has a capacity of 1.58 million TEU, making it the 4th largest in the world. Vasco Shipping has specialised in containerised transport of refrigerated cargo, special cargo and the automotive sector.
