Cajamar cooperative banking has opened its first branch in Vizcaya, specifically in Bilbao, and becomes the second in the Basque Country, as it joins the one it has had since 2020 in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Located at 19 Ercilla Street, the branch, managed by María García Martínez, will focus its activity on providing new financial solutions to contribute to the development of the economic and social activity of companies, stores, businesses and families in Bilbao. In addition, it will dedicate specific and preferential attention to companies and industries related to the agri-food and fishing sector, with which Cajamar has been linked since its origin and is a reference in financing and knowledge transfer.

The opening of this Cajamar office in Bilbao was attended by the vice president of Cajamar, José Luis Heredia; the deputy general manager of the entity,  Jesús Vargas, the territorial director in the Basque Country,  José Antonio Montero, and the area director, Fermín Unanua, in addition to the other professional working in the office.
