REMITIDO DE WEC Lines

Nos complace anunciar que desde esta misma semana ampliamos nuestros servicios intermodales para conectar con los buques de WEC Lines en el puerto de Bilbao.

Este sábado pasado, 8 de julio, partía un nuevo tren desde Barcelona con destino Bilbao que ha cargado en la terminal ferroviaria de Agoncillo, operada por Transportes Royo.   

Acudimos con varias empresas de la comunidad portuaria, viajan a Róterdam para visitar y participar en TOC Europe, el evento más importante para conocer las novedades tecnológicas de la industria del contenedor. En él se dan cita puertos, terminales, líneas marítimas, operadores y demás agentes del sector. 
Con la compañía de empresas asociadas desde Uniport promovemos la oferta especializada que los distintos operadores pueden encontrar en el puerto de Bilbao alineada con la industria, el comercio y su internacionalización. 

UniportBilbao, junto con la Autoridad Portuaria de Bilbao y VIAL - Vitoria Álava Solución Logística, participa en la feria internacional Transport Logistic de Munich, que se celebra del 9 al 12 de mayo.

One more year, the port community of Bilbao, grouped under UniportBilbao, participates in Intermodal South America, the largest event for the cargo transport, logistics, intralogistics, storage and foreign trade sector in South America. This international meeting is held between February 28 and March 2 in São Paulo, with the participation of representatives of UniportBilbao and the associated companies Ashton Cargo Bilbao/Share Logistics, Debusman Pastrana, E. Erhardt y Cía and Nervión Internacional.

On March 1 and 2 we have been present at Empack and Logistics & Automation Bilbao 2023, at a stand shared with the Bilbao Port Authority.

This event has been the first meeting point for packaging and logistics professionals in the north of Spain, organized by Easyfairs at the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC), and in which UniportBilbao and the Port Authority collaborate.

The International Fair of Frozen Sea Products (CONXEMAR), which this year celebrates its 23rd edition and serves as a meeting place for the entire processing sector: wholesalers, importers, exporters, processors, manufacturers, distributors, refrigerators, machinery and auxiliary industry (cold , packaging, plastics, etc...) or aquaculture, to which the companies associated with Uniport offer specialized logistics services.

A great team of professionals from the port of Bilbao has collaborated in this stage of promotion in the United Kingdom which, on a trade mission, visited Liverpool and London last week.

This commercial mission complements the promotional campaign for the port of Bilbao carried out over the last 18 months and aimed at supporting, with logistical solutions, English and Spanish importers and exporters after the implementation of Brexit, and which has been coordinated by Uniport

Organized by the Basque Country Logistics & Mobility Federation (BCLM), and coordinated by UniportBilbao, it will be held in an open format and will feature rail freight transport.

Programme & registration

The port of Bilbao starts a ro-ro service with China and India with  Nordex Acciona's wind blades cargo.

The Super Fast Levante ship, consigned and stowed by Toro and Betolaza, has inaugurate the service. In this first call has unloaded twelve blades from India and will load another twelve of the new generation of 81.5 m,  manufacturates by Nordex Acciona and transported to the port of Bilbao by T. Grúas Aguado.

The companies of the port of Bilbao, represented by Uniport, have been present at this Grain Exchange organised by ACCOE (Spanish Grain and Oilseed Trade Association), and Unistock of Spain (Spanish Association of Port Warehousekeepers of Grains, Cereals and their derivatives), with the aim of promoting commercial and business relations between the operators involved in the logistics chain of grains, oilseeds and derivatives.
